The GMs

Carrie Wogaman

any | @normalhumanadult

Carrie Wogaman (any pronouns) is a non-binary performer, writer, and dungeon master. Their career in immersive and improvisational theatre and their love of storytelling, lore, and mythology met in 2019 in the tabletop role-playing game space, and today they can be found at actual play tables (Side Quest, Roll for Recall), running personalized private campaigns and one-shots, and teaching new players in specially designed learn-to-play adventures. They're passionate about their table being an accessible place for all where everyone feels welcome, valued, and important, and the greatest loves of their life are playing make-believe with their friends and making the world a better, safer, and kinder place for good people.

JR Williams

she/they | @jrwilliamsiswriting

JR/Jackie is a digital media producer and professional Game Master. She discovered TTRPGs in 2019 when she accidentally listened to an actual play podcast and was unwillingly moved to tears. After realizing they couldn’t not tell stories anymore, they started their own actual play, Nomads of the Multiverse, in 2025, as part of their production company Sad Raspberry. Jackie loves finding emotional stakes in absurd situations, and she can’t resist an underdog story. They incorporate themes of nature as an unstoppable force, resisting systems of control, and questioning the narratives we’re told into most of their games. Jackie began her producing career in theatre before moving to digital media. She lives with her sister and nephew in Toronto.

Safia Aldulaijan

she/her | @safiadulaijan

A fantasy writer and gaming community manager from Saudi Arabia, Safia loves telling stories through TTRPG games inspired by her culture and history. She’s been a GM for 9 years and creates content to help others discover the games she loves to run.

Kimberly Barrante

she/her | @Kimberly.Barrante

Kimberly Barrante is a Los Angeles-based screenwriter, performer, and professional Game Master. Her award-winning screenplay Celeritas was on the Annual Black List in 2014. It was later performed on The Black List Table Reads Podcast. Kim completed a screenwriting fellowship at Lionsgate Studios in 2016. She has gone on to work in both features and television, and is a proud member of the WGA. Kim recently collaborated with Calm Kids and Universal/Illumination to write multiple "sleep stories" featuring the Minions (Despicable Me) and Po (Kung Fu Panda). You can listen to "Minions in Space," "The Three Little Minions," "Moonlit Symphony," and "The Secret of the Dream Scroll" on the Calm app. Kim currently teaches screenwriting through the Sundance Co//Lab. You can also find her as a GM on StartPlaying.

Anastasia Hanchak

she/her | @anastasia.reverie

Anastasia is an actor, cosplayer, and nerd extraordinaire based out of Washington, DC. She has been playing TTRPGs for 12 years and finally took the leap to become a Dungeon Master in 2024. She enjoys collaborative storytelling in all its forms and loves to embody genuine, compelling characters.
Her passion for fictional worlds is matched by her flair for the dramatic, and she has a decade’s worth of professional experience performing in immersive entertainment and theater productions. When she is not gallivanting through imaginary realms she enjoys traveling to realms on this plane of existence and making chainmail armor.

Dora Korpar

she/they | @d2k__

Dora Korpar is big into dungeons and big into dragons! Very shortly after being introduced to the game as a player, she jumped into the DM seat and has never looked back. She has been a guest player on the Bay Area TTRPG channel “Total Party Chill”, and is both a regular player and GM on the TTRPG actual play channel “Nomads of the Multiverse”. With a background in improv and storytelling, Dora delights in bringing people together through the magic of play and shared experience.
When she isn’t homebrewing new worlds or prepping for her next session, Dora has a whole host of hobbies including reading, crocheting, and snuggling with her cat Minotaur.

King Squishy

she/her | @mesartwork @thekingsquishy

Mariela is a sequential artist who tells stories and connects people using her visual and performing arts background. Her works range from tackling difficult subjects through dynamic visuals- to turning your girlfriend into a worm at the D&D table. She aims to bring people laughter and a sense of whimsy while navigating stories with unique circumstances. Her creative goals are congruent with her desire to promote inclusion, bring joy, and elicit humanity in others.

Amy Vorpahl

she/her | @vorpahlsword

Amy Vorpahl is an actor, writer, and comedy content creator. With a background in sketch and improv, her Dungeon Mastering is delightfully silly. Known for her contagious laughter, Amy has guested on "Critical Role" and "Dimension 20," written for Official D&D books, and served as the Creative Director for Alchemy RPG’s "Dark Symmetry." Her two music albums, "Songs in the Key of D&D" and “Behold Her Dreams,” were inspired by many characters and experiences at the table. She recently premiered her solo musical, “She’s Got NPC Energy,” and is currently touring the country with it! She is the creator and facilitator of DM School, an online course designed to give DMs everything they need (including confidence) to run their games with fun and excellence. And she is beyond thrilled to be leading her formidable team of DM School grads through GM Fest 2026!

Max deLaubenfels

he/him | @max.mildly.mad

Max is a long-time lover of games of all types and supports community and artistry however he can. He’s been playing D&D since he was 13, and has been inspired by the storytelling power of Role Playing Games since then. Max is engaged in various projects as a DM and writer, and still plays a weekly game with his friends from high school. He is delighted by a good book, a good song, and to support the creativity of others. His roots are in Washington State where he lives with his wife and poodle.

Substitute GMs

Amanda Mata-Mei

she/her | @thathaglife

Amanda Mata-Mei is a crafty halfling mom by day and a #foreverDM by night. With a professional background in event planning and relationship-building, Amanda approaches a gaming session like she might a jovial dinner party—creating a warm atmosphere for friends to enjoy a multi-course feast of story and characters. Trained as a writer and filmmaker, she draws inspiration for her games from her fascination with camp, poetic language, and the weird/wonderful celluloid images she cannot get out of her head (the boat ride in Willy Wonka? Fruma-Sarah towering over the bed in Fiddler? The unearthly glow effect in the Secret of NIMH? Obsessed.) Amanda has been playing D&D since 2017 and DMing nearly weekly since 2020. She has a special love for low-level play and new players, and loves the sense of community created by the ritual of gathering around a table. Her dream job might be to become a gaming matchmaker helping people find or create welcoming groups in their communities that are tough enough to defeat everyone’s worst BBEG: scheduling.

Steven Nguyen

they/them | @sirnoogen

Steven Nguyen is a long time history and pop culture nerd with a newly ignited love for TTRPGs and DM'ing games. They've been reading fantasy and scifi stories of several genres since they were a kid, with a love for telling stories as soon as they had a chance to. Whether it was writing fanfiction or alternative what-ifs for games, they could only fall in love with the medium of TTRPGs and storytelling after they tried Monster of the Week with friends on a whim.
